영어 라이팅 훈련 [관계대명사의 사용 1-That-replacement/ that을 재배치하는 방법]

 

너무 헷갈렸던 관계대명사에 대해 다시 한번 공부해보려고 한다.

 

that 재배치하기

-> 두 번째 문장에서는 반복되는 명사를 that으로 대신함.

 

* 반복되는 명사 중 뒤에 있는 것을 that으로 바꾼다.

ex) I spent the money. You gave me the money. (반복되는 the money)

  -> I spent the money that you gave me. (나는 네가 나에게 준 돈을 썼어)

 

계속 예를 들어 바꿔보자!

 

나는 그 책을 읽었어. 그 책은 흥미로웠어

I read the book. The book was interesting.

나는 그 책을 읽었어. 그것은 흥미로웠어.

I read the book. That was interesting.

나는 흥미로운 그 책을 읽었어.

I read the book that was interesting.

 

 

 

그들은 그 셔츠를 팔아요. 그 셔츠가 유행이에요.

They sell a shirt. The shirt is fashionable.

그들은 그 셔츠를 팔아요. 그것은 유행이에요.

They sell a shirt. That is fashionable.

그들은 유행하는 그 셔츠를 팔아요.

They sell a shirt that is fashionable.

 

 

나는 그 소문을 들었어. 그 소문은 Cindy의 마음을 아프게 했어.

I heard the rumor. The rumor hurt Cindy.

나는 그 소문을 들었어. 그것은 Cindy의 마음을 아프게 했어.

I heard the rumor. That hurt Cindy.

나는 Cindy의 마음을 아프게 한 소문을 들었어.

I heard the rumor that hurt Cindy.

I read the book. You recommended the book.

나는 책을 읽었어. 네가 그것을 추천했잖아.

I read the book. You recommended that.

나는 네가 추천한 그 책을 읽었어.

I read the book that you recommended.

 

 

그들은 셔츠를 팔았요. 나는 그 셔츠를 좋아해요.

They sell a shirt. I like the shirt.

그들은 셔츠를 팔아요. 나는 그것을 좋아해요.

They sell a shirt. I like that.

그들은 내가 좋아하는 그 셔츠를 팔아요.

They sell a shirt that I like.

 

 

나는 그 소문을 들었어. 사람들이 그 소문을 수군거리고 있는 중이었어.

I heard the rumor. People were whispering the rumor.

나는 그 소문을 들었어. 사람들이 그것을 수군거리고 있는 중이었어.

I heard the rumor. People were whispering that.

나는 사람들이 수군거리고 있는 그 소문을 들었어.
